David Freeman




David Freeman is a poet, playwright, and essayist from Long Lake, Minnesota. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The Kenyon Review Online, Prairie Schooner, The Massachusetts Review, The Indianapolis Review, and others. Click here for a full list of publications. 

In 2015, he received the Nicholas Meyer Award for Dramatic Writing. His production, Love Me Tender, Che Guevara, premiered in the Fall of 2015 at the University of Iowa. In 2012, he received the Tennessee Williams Award for Playwriting. His production, Rock 'N' Roll Jesus, was presented as a staged reading in 2014. 

In addition, David currently co-hosts The Most Haunted Boys in School, a weekly comedy podcast about ghosts throughout history. New episodes are available every Monday on iTunes and SoundCloud.
